So it's a nice day outside and I decide to take a drive. Where to? It doesn't matter. I get in my car, turn my radio on--only to hear: "O le do way!!!!" And no, that's not some ancient creole language. It is none other than Wacka Flacka Flame. Usually I would be appalled at the blatant lack of lyricsm, but noooooooooo--not this time.

Against all my better judgement as the Hip-Hop elitist that I am, I turn the radio as loud as it can go, and proceed to sing Oh Let's Do It (Yes, that's what he's saying masked behind his "I've-got-food-in-my-mouth accent) at the top of my lungs.

This prompted me to write a blog about rappers that I'm embarrassed to say I like. (As I hang my head in shame)

First on my list is none other than the aforementioned Wacka Flocka Flame. If his name isn't enough to be ashamed of, try the fact where he has a song that no one understands the words to. He kinda reminds me a little of Mush Mouth ( you know, the speech impediment kid from Fat Albert). Anyways, homeboy is signed to So Icy records and was discovered by Gucci Mane, who has also made this list. Unfortunately, Wacka Flocka was recently shot during a car wash robbery--maybe it was an angry fan who got frustrated trying to decipher what the heck Wacka Flocka was saying (hmph)--hope he gets better though!

Coming in a close second is Soulja Boy Tell Em. Is it me, or do these Atlanta rappers have a thing with long names--that kinda make no sense? In any case, I am an avid offender of blasting this guy's music until my speakers burst and my annoying upstairs neighbor comes knocking at my door--especially "Turn my Swag on". Don't judge me! Soulja Boy has mastered the art of saying one sentence in 10 different ways to a good beat.

I bought a toostie roll at the tootsie roll store and all my money I have spent--on my blackcard."

And to think he failed the 9th grade not once, but two times. I guess school isn't for everybody?

Gucci Mane LaFluer. First of all, what type of grown man names himself the flower? Second of all, who still wears Gucci printed clothing--how tacky! But I digress, I do enjoy "Wasted" a little too much for my liking. I can't help but move when it comes on in the club--yes, guilty as charged. Good news is, that maybe I'll be able to ween myself off of good ol' Gucci Mane for at least 12 months (because that's how long he'll be in jail). Bad news: He's in jail. Hey, you win some, you lose some.

"He could always pull a Shyne and make a collect call record."

In any case, people--don't judge me! Yes I am a guilty offender, but don't act like y'all don't sing along when you hear them too. I'm pretty sure I'll be adding more to this list soon. In the meantime... (As I dance away from my computer) O Le Do Way!!!
